Purchased from Barry Walker in September1994 in boxes of bits, including

 a new body tub, apron, valances and fuel tank.

Restored completely, down to the enut and bolt stagef, regardless of expense,

 all parts either replaced or refurbished to new standards. Fitted with front mounted blower,

 giving up to 14 p.s.i boost.

Car is finished in British Racing Green with red wire wheels.

The car was completed in April 2000, current mileage since rebuild, 2,900

Included with the car are about 6 years of eSafety Fastf and Octagon Car Club Bulletins,

 together with several MG books and a pair of eBrooklands Aerof screens.

The following is a list of  the more significant restoration work completed.

ENGINE ASSEMBLY

Block sleeved and rebored to standard size.(South Cerney Engineering)

Competition pistons (Mike Allison).

Phoenix crank and rods (shell bearings).

New double row front main bearing and rear bearing lined bored (Bob Jones)

Lip seals front and rear of crank.

Flywheel lightened.

Alloy clutch cover, fingers, plate, lining & springs (S & V).

Cast alloy side plates.

Crank assembly balanced. (SCE).

New high tensile head studs, all other studs replaced with stainless steel.

Head fitted with lead free inserts and valve guides (Bob Jones).

New camshaft, bearings, followers, shafts, eccentric bushes, valves and springs

New camshaft drive bevel gears.

New dynamo bevel gears, forks and coupling.

New oil pump gears.

External spin on oil filter.

Shorrock type supercharger (cross flow).  Driven from crank shaft nose.

11/2h SU carb.   Standard 1h carbs. refurbished.

Log type blower manifold fitted to original carb. manifold.

New water manifold (S&V)

New exhaust and silencer (16 gauge).

GEARBOX

New bearings, lip seals, new release bearing.

Remote gear change rebushed.

New prop shaft (Hardy Spicer joints).

BACK AXLE

New CWP & spare (one alloy, one steel housing), 4.875, 5.125 ratios.  Lip seals on input flange.

New bearings.

New half shafts and splined  hubs.

Threaded ends on axle casing replaced.

CHASSIS

Stove enamelled.

Rear trunnion housings replaced.

Rear spring pivots replaced.

New centre leaves in springs.

New trunnion bushes.

New Hartford shock absorbers (front and rear).

Front axle checked and bushed (Tom Dark).

New front splined hubs & bearings.

Steering box bushed and lip sealed, with new bearings and half sphericals.

New eBrooklandsf steering wheel.

BRAKES

Hydraulic, braided hoses and copper nickel tube.

Front brakes twin leading shoe.

New handbrake cables.

BODY &  TRIM

New alloy skinned ash tub and doors.

New bonnet.

New fuel tank and edog bonef filler cap.

Three  front aprons, standard unblown, exposed blower, covered  blower.

New bucket seats and upholstery (Collingbourne).

New dashboard.

Radiator recored. (Vintage Radiators).

Radiator shell & grill rechromed.
